Secure Payments
SmartFees CCMS Direct Debit payments are processed by ChildCare EasyPay, a secure third party processing gateway. ChildCare EasyPay is owned and operated by Pinpoint Pty Ltd. Funds are transferred to the childcare service’s nominated company bank account which can be with any bank. Pinpoint also debits the parent’s bank account or credit card.
In effect, Pinpoint provides a cost effective “Master Merchant” facility, eliminating the need for the service to set up an online merchant facility with their own bank.
Pinpoint acts as the master merchant and all funds processed are “settled” to Pinpoint as per normal banking arrangements. Pinpoint then reconcile these funds and within 48 hours transfer the full amount that has been processed on the service’s behalf to the service’s nominated bank account. Pinpoint’s processes have been audited and operate under strict trust account controls and procedures.
All processing services are provided by ChildCareEasyPay’s secure gateway which has been audited to the highest security standards by Visa & MasterCard and is a robust, safe and highly reliable service utilised by over 2,000 “Merchants” around Australia .
